Which One is Right for You
When I first signed up with the company I had no idea there were two membership options and I had no idea of which one to choose. I chose Wellness Advocate because it was the one that looked like I could make the most money. And I was right. However, if I had it to do over, I think I would have chosen the Wholesale Membership first. I want you to be very clear on the differences of each.Wholesale Member
The way doTERRA uses the word “wholesale” is a bit unconventional. Typically a wholesale account is set up for someone who wants to be able to resell a product for profit. That is NOT the case with doTERRA. The wholesale membership does not allow you to sell or make any kind of income from doTERRA products. The wholesale membership is more of a “rewards and discounts program”. With this membership, you are able to buy product at the wholesale price and earn rewards that can be redeemed on future purchases. If you make a loyalty order that has a 125 point value (which is equivalent to approximately $125.00) you can qualify for free product. Visit Loyalty Rewards Explained for all the details. Reasons to get a Wholesale Membership.
- You want to try doTERRA products at a discount.
- You are already spending or plan to spend $50 per month on essential oils.
- You want to learn more about doTERRA products before committing to be a Wellness Advocate.
The second scenario is that you have already found the value of essential oils and are routinely using them in your life. They are already a part of your monthly budget. doTERRA will pay you back in rewards and give you outstanding quality product. Another win, win.
But the third scenario is just bloody brilliant! If you are already an advocate of essential oils and are viewing them as a potential income stream, what EO company do you choose? By becoming a wholesale member:
- you get to trial the products at discount and get rewards and free product.
- you see how the rewards program works first hand.
- you get familiar with your team leader and their leadership style.
- you get the inside scoop on the company and how they operate.
- you have time to share the product with your friends, do they want to join you?
- you have time to see if a business plan naturally develops for you.
