Earning Reward Points

The Point Value System Explained
  • To qualify for the maximum benefits your order needs to be submitted by the 14th of the month and needs to have a minimum 50PV (point value). But this will only earn you commission on your first level of enrollees. After that, you will need a minimum of 100PV on your Loyalty Order. But to be honest, if you are really want to make money in this business, I personally feel it is best to get in the habit of the 125PV Loyalty Reward Order every month, to get the free gifts, and to get more familiar with the company and how it works. We are paid like shareholders in a big corporation. Our commissions are based in part on the company’s monthly earnings. Therefore, why would you spend your dollars anywhere else? As an Advocate of the Company, I endorse using their product whenever there is a viable option. It is not a requirement but is something that you will likely be inclined to do if you are truly in alignment as an Advocate of this company.
  • After setting up your first order it will auto submit on the 14th. However, you can easily cancel the order if you don’t have the funds to submit. Just remember it will automatically submit the order on the 14th UNLESS you go in and delete and cancel the order.
  • This method works really well for me and was taught to me by my Enroller--
  • Log into your Loyalty Order by the 1st of the month and tweak it.
  • Add any items on your wish list, and remove any items that you are sure you don’t want.
  • Click the button labeled “Save and Process on the 14th” to save your order.
  • Then as the month progresses continue to tweak it as needed to suit your personal needs.
  • By the 13th of the month, log in to your order for a final review, you can go ahead and click on the “Proceed to Checkout” button or click on the “Save and Process on the 14th” button.
  • The PV or point value of each product is clearly listed below its price. This is how much the product costs in points.
  • For each order with a minimum of 50 PV dōTERRA will give you a percentage of the points back.
Months 1 – 3 = 10%
Months 4 – 6 = 15%
Months 7 – 9 = 20%
Months 10 – 12 = 25%
Months 13+ = 30%

  • For example, we will use a $14.00 bottle of Clove Oil that has a point value of 14.00
  • In months 1-3, you will earn back 1.4 loyalty points
  • After meeting the 50PV minimum for 13 consecutive months, you will earn back 4.2 points for buying that same bottle of clove oil.
  • It’s not the end of the world if you break your consecutive cycle. But you do need to place some kind of order each month. You only need to process a 1 point value order to ‘hold’ or ‘maintain’ your %points back level. So if you’re at month 7 of the Loyalty Rewards Program and getting 20% points back, then if you process a 1PV order for 3 months, you hold that level of 20% points back.
  • When you increase that to over 50PV again, you continue your trajectory to 30% points back.
  • Don’t wait too long to redeem your points. They are only valid for 1 year.
  • When you place a redemption order (redeeming your points) you do not earn any new points. You only earn points when you pay in cash.
  • When placing your order, pay attention to the banner at the top of the page. It will tell you about all of the special offers available in that month. This is where I look for oils that are not available on a continual basis.  I will send e-mails regarding the months’ promotions, but just in case you miss them, you can always check the banner at any time.
  • If your order has a PV of 125 or more, you can qualify for free gifts. They will automatically add to your order once that PV has been reached. And you will see them listed and highlighted at the bottom of your order
  • Reaching a PV order of 125 is not really as hard as it sounds. dōTERRA carries many personal hygiene products and supplements so it’s easy to meet a 125PV without breaking the budget. You can just switch out some of the drugstore brands you’re already using with dōTERRA product.
  • I love having an all-natural, safe, toothpaste, shampoo, bar soap, and deodorant option! And would never even consider going back to the chemical-laden drugstore brands.

Wholesale Member vs Wellness Advocate

Which One is Right for You When I first signed up with the company I had no idea there were two membership options and I had no idea of which one to choose.  I chose Wellness Advocate because it was the one that looked like I could make the most money.  And I was right.  However, if I had it to do over, I think I would have chosen the Wholesale Membership first.  I want you to be very clear on the differences of each.  Wholesale Member The way doTERRA uses the word “wholesale” is a bit unconventional.  Typically a wholesale account is set up for someone who wants to be able to resell a product for profit.  That is NOT the case with doTERRA.  The wholesale membership does not allow you to sell or make any kind of income from doTERRA products. The wholesale membership is more of a “rewards and discounts program”.  With this membership, you are able to buy product at the wholesale price and earn rewards that can be redeemed on future purchases.  If you make a loyalty order that has
